My name is Destiny. I am 20 years old. I have been taking care of dogs for the past 3 years starting with a family friend's two dogs, Trigger and Loretta. Through my first "clients", I was recommended to another family to care for their Boxer, Maggie, for a few days. I then moved onto my third family where they had 4 dogs named Beethoven, Nube, Chica, and Niño. Finally, my fourth family was my Work Supervisor's and her two dogs, Sarge and Jasmine. With all of these families my job has been to feed the animals, let them out to use the restroom, and give them water when needed. I, myself, have 3 cats named Nena, Luna, and Nala. I will adjust to their needs. The first thing I do with in a pet owners home is address the pet, they want to be acknowledged that this is their turf and they are important, especially dogs. Cats are usually skidded so I let them come to me to smell me and make as a friend. I do have a few tricks, like bacon with dogs and cream with cats that usually win them over. Growing up with a dog and horse breeder, I have always had a love for animals and animals have always been a big part of my life. I currently have 3 dogs (1 Fiest/Pit mix and 2 Golden Retrievers - daddy & son) along with 4 cats. I enjoy pet sitting for friends and family and I'm sure I would enjoy pet sitting for you. I really like training animals for basic commands (sit, stay, come, taking treats from your hand softly, etc.) and I give my animals body massages and a brushing often.
