Hello. My name is Elizabeth. I have two children who are 8 and 6 years old. My children are my world, and there isn't a thing that I wouldn't give to ensure that they are always happy. My fiance Justin is a wonderful father, and a very supportive spouse. We have a very happy, loving home! We have a very sweet Rabbit named Blackie, and frequently pet sit for family members. We live a pretty simple life, spent mostly outside. We love camping, hiking, walking, skiing, sledding, playing sports, and when we are inside we spend our time playing musical instruments, board games, and reading. I am a musician; I play guitar, percussion, banjo, sing, and write all of my own music. My son is learning how to play guitar. My other son likes percussion. I am also an artist; I can pretty much do any form of arts and crafts except sewing. Here is a little bit about my work and school history:
I am a college graduate. I graduated in 2012 with my associates in Medical Coding and Billing. I graduated with a 3.25 GPA. During my time as a student I made President's List, Dean's List, and perfect attendance. I am also a certified Electrician, although my certification has recently expired. I will be renewing this at some point in the near future. For the past two years I worked with an elderly woman with Alzheimer's disease. Out of all positions that I have held, I must admit that I found this to be the most rewarding. In my time as a private HHA, I passed medication, and did physical therapy with her, as shown by a licensed physical therapist. I was solely responsible for her personal hygiene Monday through Friday, and was the only one allowed to bathe her. As her illness progressed I was also responsible for toileting. I did a wide variety of tasks to ensure that she was as happy and as comfortable as she could be, including keeping her engaged in conversation, reading to her, listening to her favorite music, cooking her favorite foods, and keeping her housing clean.
From 2008-2010 I worked as an Attendant for a center. In my time there I worked with Cerebral Palsy and Traumatic brain Aneurisms. I was responsible for meal preparation, cleaning, bathing, feeding, changing, transportation, toileting, positioning, and medication passing.
For those that are looking for references I have many for you to call and check, but I do not have an e-mail address for any of them. I hope this gives you some insight into whom I am as a person. Thanks, Elizabeth
