About who needs care: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide assistance and support to a middle age individualwith some mobility disability. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in improving the quality of life by assisting with daily activities.
Responsibilities:
Errand Running: Undertake general errand running, including but not limited to, grocery shopping, post office visits, and picking up prescriptions.
Light Housekeeping and Laundry: Maintain a clean and orderly living environment. This may include light laundry, loading/unloading dishwasher, taking out trash, recycling and compost.
Assistance with Packages and Deliveries: Receive and organize deliveries. Assist with packaging and dispatching items as required.
Garden Harvesting: Provide light gardening assistance, focusing on the harvesting of fruits, vegetables, or herbs from a small home garden.
Pet Care: Comfortable with working around large dogs, and capable of providing basic care as needed.
Personal Assistance: Offer support with various personal tasks and administrative duties as needed, ensuring the employer's daily routine runs smoothly.
Requirements:
Proven experience in a similar role preferred, with references.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Comfortable working around large dogs and able to manage pet-related tasks.
A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Must pass a background check and provide references.
Work Hours & Benefits:
This is a part-time position. The expected commitment is 5-10 hours per week, with a flexible schedule to be discussed upon hiring. Must be available for some time on Tuesdays.
