Help needed for my father in his late 80s - seeking daily, split shift, hands-on care. Important - he cannot stand unaided, experience withpartial paralysis patients including lifting and moving patient using Gate Belt not mechanical assistance (6' tall 160 lbs.), assistance with daily PT exercises and administering oral medication is required. Duties may also include some light housekeeping, laundry, cooking, and companionship. Patient is incontinent, needs multiple changes and daily bathing, dressing and personal hygiene assistance. Preference is for a caregiver who is experienced, a non-smoker and must have own transportation. May be alone with patient or in household with other family members during shifts.
