Growing up I was surrounded by many younger cousins and was always happy to help watch them when my parents needed a break. While my parents were gone I would keep them entertained, feed them dinner, get them ready for bed, etc. I often brought my younger cousins to swim lessons at the YMCA and eventually I landed myself a job there as a lifeguard and swim instructor. There is nothing more rewarding than watching a kid's smile grow in the water and see them become more confident as they learn.
