We met with Liz and were excited to have her join our family. She connected us with her references, including her current family, and told us she was excited to work together after an in person meeting. Then, she claimed there was a miscommunication with her current family about working with us. We offered additional flexibility and increased pay, based on what she said would work with her other family. After a few days, she said she was sticking with them full time. It certainly feels like Liz used us to get what she wanted, and her lack of transparency and communication to her current and prospective employers is concerning.
