My name is Katie Lundy and I am in the process of opening my own in-home daycare which is expected to open in early fall of 2021. I am 27 years old and have been babysitting/nannying for the past 14 years. I have my bachelor's degree in Early ChildhoodEducation and Master's degree in Special Education. I have experience working with children that range in age from newborn to 12 years old, but have the most experience with infants, toddlers, and early school age children. My daycare will accept children ages 2 months-5 years old. The program will run Monday-Friday 8am-5pm ( with flexibility on both ends) and the daily rate is $110/day. My in-home daycare is located in North Walpole, right on the border of Westwood (off of 109, right near Bubbling Brook Ice cream). The program will utilize a play-based model and will include structured activities in the areas of social emotional well-being, sensory exploration, fine and gross motor skills, literacy, and early math skills. While academics will be incorporated into my program, my main priority is to provide a safe, nurturing environment where children will always feel seen, cared for, and loved.
