Kids Connection is a before and after-school enrichment program at the Simon Family JCC that provides a safe, fun, and educational experience that complements Virginia Beach City Public Schools curriculum for children Pre-K through 6th grade, helpingyour student grow, learn, and succeed in class. We create a safe, caring, and fun place to work on school homework, burn off energy, and help children to form friendships through group games and sports activities in a diverse environment. As a Kids Connection student, your child will participate in: - Homework assistance with a counselor - Instructional swim - A variety of activities, including art, science, math, history, and reading - Enrichment and community service programs - Cooking - Sports and games - Music - Supervised computer access with web filtered Internet - Promethean Active Board to enhance Interactive Learning Hours: Monday Friday, 6:00am to 6:00pm We also aim to help working parents and guardians in our community, so we also provide care for children who attend half-day kindergarten, full-day kindergarten, and Early Discoveries.
