About the business
"Serenity and Compassion at the End of Life"
What is an End-of-Life Doula?
The National End of Life Doula Alliance defines End-of-Life Doulas (EOLD) as those who "provide non-medical, holistic care and support to the dying person and their family which may include education and guidance as well as emotional, spiritual, and practical care from early diagnosis through bereavement."
In addition, as a Certified Hospice and Palliative Licensed Nurse, some of the services I offer include hands-on comfort measures, coordination of care with other medical professionals, resources and referrals, facilitation of advanced care planning, advanced care directives (notarization available), advocacy, mobile respite care, bedside vigil, legacy/life review projects, funeral assistance/planning, and workshops.

Awards & Accreditations
I have been a licensed vocational nurse for more than 18 years, with the last 11 years working in hospice and palliative care. I specialize in taking care of the elderly, and chronically and terminally ill adults. In my former years I worked in Long-Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facilities.
I am an active member of the Hospice and Palliative Nursing Association (HPNA), the National Association of Licensed and Practical Nurses (NAPLN), Lambda Psi Nu Sorority, Inc., and the National End-of-Life Doula Alliance.
Furthermore, I currently serve on the HPCC Awards Selection Committee, which is a group responsible for the annual selection and recognition of hospice and palliative care professionals who have made contributions to advance expert care in serious illness. I am also a volunteer with a local hospice.
