Brenda was so wonderful helping us find a fantastic caregiver called Phyllis. It was great to be able to completely trust a team of people knowing that they would come into our home and do a good job taking care of our loved one. Brenda and Nancy Mburu were caregivers sent from heaven! They were very professional, yet very personable. My Dad and Mom were so attached to them. All of my parents' children (5 and their spouses) were so comfortable with them. They were a part of the family, however, they did much more work than we did! My mother is in the latter stages of Alzheimer's Disease and Brenda and Nancy of Serene Private Homecare take care of her. If I could give 100 stars as an overall rating that wouldn't even begin to capture how wonderful they are with her and how much we love them. They are so kind, skilled, trustworthy and reliable. Because of her disease, my mother can be difficult and agitated at times and they are so good and skilled at helping her through those periods of agitation - remaining calm and patient and kind and unshaken. Also, my mother refused to bathe for 2 years - no one could get her anywhere near the tub or shower. Amazingly, Brenda and Nancy each have been able to get my mom in the shower and help her bathe. My mom adores them both and they feel like part of our family. They care for her as if she was a member of their family. From help with grocery shopping to meal prep, helping mom dress and do laundry - they are my mom's companions in this difficult chapter of her life. I trust them with her life and that is trust well placed. They are so dependable and when they are with her I have total peace of mind that she is in the best hands possible. I can't recommend Serene Private Homecare highly enough.
