We are seeking individuals passionate about education who would like to utilize and improve valuable tutoring, communication and leadership skills. Their relentlessly positive attitude and approach to education impacts SCORE! members on a daily basis. <br/> <br/>Instructor Job Description: <br/> <br/> * Tutor and motivate children Pre-K-10th grade <br/> * Support full-time Directors by providing outstanding service to current and prospective members <br/> * Help create a positive and supportive environment <br/> * Perform some office work, such as data entry, filing and basic cleaning <br/> <br/>Qualifications: <br/> <br/> * Previous experience working with children <br/> * Natural ability to explain concepts, motivate and guide children <br/> * Strong communication skills with children, parents and staff <br/> * Outgoing, enthusiastic, well spoken and responsible <br/> * Excellent overall role model <br/> * Strong academic record <br/> * Successful completion of Algebra II or Geometry (or equivalent) <br/> * Score of 85% or higher on basic skills test <br/> * Computer experience <br/> * Ability to work a minimum of 10 hours per week <br/> * Weekday afternoons or evenings and/or weekend availability <br/> <br/>What is SCORE!? <br/>SCORE!
