Sam's Tiny Tots

We are committed to providing young children and their families with high quality early childhood education and care in an enriching environment. The early years of a child's life is the most critical time and during this time we need to provideexperiences that will impact the child's development and provide future academic success. We will offer learning experiences that will give the child the tools that they will need to grow and develop into productive members of our society and our leaders of the future. At Tiny Tots we have arranged our place so we have different learning centers to motivate exploration within a daily routine which will include small and group activities. We have available areas for building blocks and push-pull toys to develop hand and eye coordination, dress up or pretend to cook in the home center allowing them to develop social skills, musical instruments to learn rhythm, in the reading center they will be developing their literacy skills, an art center to explore their creative energies, and a puzzle center for them to learn problem solving. It may appear to you that your child is "just playing," but children learn best through play. We will give your child every opportunity to explore and "just play." Our goal is to have fun and provide extra learning stimulation for your child. Everything at Tiny Tots will be clean, safe and well planned. All children will be provided with activities and learning experiences that is appropriate for each child's needs and abilities. We also have toys and outside activities planned, such as water play, bubble machines, chalk, balls, riding and push toys for physical growth. We will encourage all children to work and play together peacefully, learn to share and use their words to communicate their desires. We will have both self-directed and teacher initiated instruction. We will post bi-weekly lesson plans which provide you, the parent, with information on what skills your child will be developing for that week through the activities and learning experiences that will be taught. STAFF TRAINING Each teacher will have a wide variety of in-service training and will be provided with other resources to develop, maintain, and be up to date on their teaching skills.
