PHILOSOPHY:
3X/More/ Room For Growing is a licensed day care emphasizing early childhood education and family involvement.
* We strive for a child directededucation, which means introducing the child to as many possible topics in as many possible ways and following their individual interests, needs, and learning styles. <br/>* We teach children how to be responsible for their actions and their well-being. <br/>* We place an emphasis on environmental and natural studies. <br/>* We have an open door policy and welcome and encourage families to participate in the 3X/More/ Room For Growing day. <br/> <br/>LOCATION: <br/>One quarter mile from the back entrance of Ithaca College and steps from the Six Mile Creek Trail, 3X/More/ Room For Growing has a large fenced in garden and rolling hills for outdoor play. <br/> <br/>ENROLLMENT: <br/>We offer pre-school to children ages 6 weeks to 5 years, and before and after-school childcare to children up to the age of 12. A maximum enrollment of 12 children per day insures that the staff can give excellent attention to all (teacher to student ratio, 1:6). <br/> <br/>PROGRAM: <br/>Integrating our many areas of experience and expertise, we offer a well-rounded education through games, play, and exploration. 3X/More/ Room For Growing helps children take the steps they need to develop in their areas of weakness and excel in their strengths. At 3X/More/ Room For Growing your children will develop self-esteem, a love for learning, and respect for others. Gloria Molina (owner of all three gfdc) has been teaching since 1978. She is bi-lingual in English and Spanish. She involves the community in her many Puerto Rican, family festivities.
