East Ithaca Preschool

1825 Slaterville Road, Ithaca, NY

Costimate: $172/wk

East Ithaca Preschool is a play-based, nurturing environment led by our dynamic, experienced and patient teacher Mrs. Foote. We enroll children from the ages of two and a half through age six. Your child may attend five days a week, or Tuesday/Thursdays or Monday/Wednesday/Fridays. Children under the age of three may attend on Tuesday/Thursday mornings only (though we are allowing younger children to enroll for more days in the 2020-2021 school year due to smaller class sizes).

Our school is in session weekday mornings from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. Currently, we do not offer an after-school program. The school year starts in September and ends in June and is divided into two semesters. Our calendar is loosely based on the Ithaca City School District and our school breaks are similar to those in the District.

We will be mostly outdoors and have limited class sizes during the 2020-2021 school year.

East Ithaca Preschool is incredible! My son is about to return for his third year and he loves the teachers and is never ready to come home at the end of the day. As a parent, I love how much love and care goes into building the school community - I've made friends with other parents and will be so sad to leave when my son goes off to kindergarten. Also, EIP is so affordable! If you're just looking for a half day program for your child, I can't recommend it highly enough.
