About

I have over 16 years of experience with children. I have a 17 year old daughter and a 8 month old son. I have a child development associates degree, a bachelors in Human Services and a Masters in Social Work. I have been extensively trained in childdevelopment. The past 10 years I have been working at the Bureau of Milwaukee Child Welfare as a social worker ensuring that children who have been abused or neglected have a safe home. I am passionate about child safety and child development. I have realized how quickly my daughter has grown up before me and I do not want to miss out on my son. This is why I have decided to open my own day care allowing for me to continue to work with children as well as my own. My husband works first shift as a regional manager as well as with Oak Creek/Franklin school district and with Oak Creek Parks and Recreation as a youth sports coordinator/coach. My daughter attends high school and plans on becoming a fire fighter. I can provide to your children a safe and nurturing environment, a pet and smoke free home, as well as, a large yard for the children to play, when weather permits. I can supply healthy meals and snacks and will follow the schedule you provide for your child. However, I do request that you supply formula, bottles, diapers/wipes and a change of clothing or two! Although, I cannot replace a parents care for their child/ren . I do believe I can and will care for them as I would my own.
