About the business
After spending 7 years working at the local children's hospital, I decided that I needed to be at home with my children. As the mother of two, a 17 year old son and a 12 year old daughter, I know how difficult it can be to find a place that you feel is safe for your child. I will provide a loving home away from home for your precious little one. We play, read, and learn age appropriate social skills. We attend story times and special events at the library. We take walks and play outside, weather permitting, either in the backyard with bubbles and play tunnels or at the park. In the summer, we swim at the community pool. As your child grows, we work on educational skills and life skills. I will help you to have your child ready for school and for life.

Penny's Daycare went above and beyond my expectations of a daycare. She watched my son from 11 months - 16 months. As a first time Mom, she put me at ease with her extensive background as a care-taker and she is a mom of 2 wonderful kids which also made an impression on me. Penny was not only extremely reliable and flexible, but she also showed my son so much love and attention that he became a little part of her family. Penny was also respectful of my wishes for my son and did not question me when I asked her to do things a specific way with him. As a dual-military couple, my husband and I believe Penny provided maximum flexibility and also did so with a compassionate and understanding attitude. We could not have hoped for better care for our son and would recommend her to anyone!
