To provide quality care for young children while their parents are at work or in school full-time or part time. Each child is provided with material (toys) and activities, which meet her/his developmental needs. The furniture and other equipment aredesigned to help children gain independence in motor skills and self-help skills. The provider's responsibilities include making sure the children are safe; assisting them when they need help; providing appropriate toys and activities; maintaining a flexible, but predictable routine to each day; providing them with gentle positive discipline; and most importantly, give them loving, nurturing care. I provide preschool program for children ages 2-5 at no additional cost to you. Some of the activities include arts & crafts, music, math, science, book reading everyday, as well as letter, shapes, colors, and number recognitions in a monthly them format. I will be more than happy to help with potty training and parents should initiate the process at home first, whether it is over a weekend or over vacation. I expect parents to work with me in this process which means once potty training is initiated I want the child in training pants or pull-ups at all time. All children will have a rest time, they will not be made to take a nap, but will lie down on their mat quietly. I do provide breakfast and snacks each day the parents must provide meals. Also because emergencies do happen, I am first aid and CPR certified. Both nonprescription and prescriptions, ointment, and creams can be given to your child if need. Parents are required to fill out the proper forms and to supply all medications in their original containers. Normal hours of operations are 6:00am to 6:pm Monday through Friday. I am occasionally available for overtime, overnight, or weekend care, there will be an extra charge for this service. I am also a participant of the Early Years Network program, which comes to my daycare to monitor the professional development and level of education, with quality rating and improvement care system for in home providers, as a benefit as the child care provider I am a Child Development Associated (CDA) credential. As the provider I have passed all childcare experience and background checks, my home childcare setting is clean and healthy and safe for all children I will make sure all children basic needs are met.
