Ms. Gersey's Neighborschool

We follow a daily routine that can vary according to child age and interest. Typically, circle time follows breakfast, and during circle time, we have lots of learning routines. Children in my program learn numbers, letters, shapes, colors, animals, andlots of other things. We do this through images, motions, speaking, conversation, and repetition. After circle time, we often play outside and then move to independent work or free play leading up to lunch. The afternoons include napping, activities such as dramatic play and arts and crafts, dancing, and more play. I love to participate in activities with the kids. We dance together almost every day, and I show them how to do the stretches and exercises when we do those. I'm not just having fun with the kids, though. I take my job as their teacher very seriously, and children leave this program prepared for all that they will find in Pre-K. What is NeighborSchools?
