Do not listen to these people leaving 1 star reviews they don't know what they are talking about I've been taking my daughter there for well over a year and couldn't be happier. They are very flexible accommodating, they have been doing this for decades and have loads of experience, and they are very good at having the kids get along with each other which I appreciate. Also I have brought my child there late, picked up early and whenever I do that it's always unannounced and I have never seen anything on their tv that wasn't kid friendly and age appropriate.
I won't recommend this daycare to anyone. The owners don't provide any care for the children. They YELL at the children. They are quick-tempered. Please don't make the mistake I made. They do no activities, they watch TV throughout, and even these TV shows are movies for grown ups that children must not watch. The kid's have no choice since that is what the owners are watching!. They don't care about the happiness of the child. I regret taking my kid to this horrible daycare. The food they give to the children is poor! Please, please please don't be fooled, look elsewhere. Heads up: Bright Stars Childcare belongs to them! Beware!!

I am shocked that someone left a one star review. Theresa is a very caring provider. My daughters (age 4 and 6) have been going to her daycare for a year now. My 6 year old had a really hard time adjusting after being at home with me for three years. Theresa was very kind and accommodating and did everything she could to help her feel more comfortable. She fed her special meals to accommodate her picky eating and bought toys that the girls would like. She also made it possible for me to go to work during Covid by allowing my daughter to do her remote learning there in a quiet setting. Does she let them watch TV? Yes, but so did I when I was a stay-at-home mom. She also has them do projects and educational activities, and thanks to her, my daughters learned all their letters, numbers, and a good chunk of sight words ahead of schedule. My daughter's teacher told me in conferences that I " am doing something right" because my daughter is advanced in reading, writing, and math. In reality, I haven't done anything special. That was all Theresa. My youngest loves her so much that she says "bye Theresa. I love you" every day when we leave. It's hard to find good care at a reasonable price, but I definitely found it here.

If you are looking for a cash in hand daycare, then this place is for you. Don't expect much more. I went against my better judgement in enrolling my child, and ran for the cheaper rate in hope of the service meeting my exception, and it didn't. It's such a dark place to keep children, limited lighting throughout the home, and I can't recall ever seeing the sun shine through any window. Clutter, clutter and more clutter. The backyard may be spacious for children to run around but that shouldn't be the selling point. I think the word quality care was forgotten. Too many children for just a wife and husband to oversee. And the husband....I will just keep my opinion to myself in that regard. PARENTS, MOMS....DADS......exhaust all of your options before seriously considering the creepiest daycare setting I have ever step foot in. The price is not right, because the value of your children is far greater then what this daycare advertises.

Pros: The electricity works, shelter from inclement weather

Cons: The house is always freezing, the stench, not developmental setting, too much TV time for the children (Drop them off ..TV! Pick them up...TV!), The couch is everyone's bed, just doesn't feel right!
