The YMCA preschool of Santa Fe provides a developmentally age-appropriate, child-centered program that focuses on the developmental needs of each child in our care. Our preschool classrooms are equipped with many discovery centers and sensoryactivities that stimulate understanding of their surroundings. Children are encouraged to be creative as they engage in hands on activities that allow for imagination and questioning. Our children’s day includes activities associated with art, music, stories, learning centers, playground activities, and social interactions. The instructional setting provides opportunities for free play, guided play, and skill mastery. Activities are created off of children’s interest and developmental needs. The YMCA provides a safe environment for exploration, excitement and hands on experiences for children 2-5 years of age.
