After a very poor experience, I am writing so others will know that if this happens, Trisha will not stand by you. This email sent to Trisha weeks ago was never responded to. I gave her time to make it right and disappointed she made the choice to take money from a family that had that had to go through this. Note that we didn't pay her until after she guaranteed this nanny for a year (this is why this is so sickening). Here is the letter sent:

Trisha - Simply put, you gave me a nanny who didn't provide the services I paid for and you told me I would receive(just over 1 month ONLY of working for us to be clear). That is a clear "breach of contract". Speaking of which, " " left long before her contract expired and did not fulfill her responsibilities while here. The day she left I was with my family on an outing in Pennsylvania and received a mere text saying she had left a note and was leaving - no face-to-face out of respect - no reasonable notice- nothing. My youngest daughter was devastated. I later found out " " had told my 14 year old daughter that being a nanny was not her "calling" and she had personal issues to deal with and did not want to be a nanny anymore. There is a list I have made of things that went wrong but I am not going to belabor the point with you. Even my neighbors and friends will attest to the issues I had to face on an almost daily basis.
I have gone out of my way to work with you including when " " said very unbecoming things about you. She tried to negotiate a higher rate after even after signing a contract and blamed you for accepting a low rate of service - "unprofessional" she called you. If you recall, I contacted you immediately rather than accept what she said at face value. Upon your assurance she was wrong I proceeded. I placed my trust in you, never dreaming you would not stand by your word and the contract we signed for your services. Every time I complained about alarming issues you advised I "give her a chance". On your word, I did. That was a obviously a mistake.
Hopefully, you will proceed with greater care in choosing those you recommend to fill the role of a nanny. The care of small children is one of the most important "callings" in life, a role only for those who take their responsibility seriously and with the utmost concern for their small charges. " " did not fit that category although she came recommended by you.
My children are damaged from this and I'm left in a bad situation trying to fill the gap. Now you tell me you will try to find someone else "over the next few months." I no longer want your services in the future now that I know you do not stand by your contracts so providing another nanny "when you can locate one" as you put it, is not an option to make things right. I need assistance now not later.
I paid you only after you found a nanny and guaranteed she would preform as advertised. She did not even come close. This is clearly a breach of contract and you owe me what I paid -after it was said to be promised and provided. There is nothing else to discuss.
If you cannot see that I deserve a refund for services promised that were not rendered, you leave me no choice but to take whatever action I deem necessary and prudent to recover my loss. You can do as you please and see where that gets you. But the simple solution is to return the fee you charged for services that were not as advertised and the matter is over as far as I am concerned. You can then go forward with an untarnished reputation, sans legal fees that can easily surpass the amount you owe me and avoid wasting my and your time. Speaking of which, should I find myself consuming my time trying to resolve this in or out of court, I will expect to be compensated for that time upon which I place great value -not to mention the costs I will incur in the process as well as compensation for the enormous emotional distress this has and continues to cause me and my children.
I want to get on with my life and you want to get on with your business. So, please keep this simple for both of us. Send me the refund ASAP with no further ado.
