Jo's Home offers a safe, family friendly, and intentional learning environment for children. Jo not only educates the children and prepares them for schooling. Jo creatively instills life, social, and pratical skills specific to their age group. Jo has an innovative teaching approach for our son and other students. Jo maintains an environment to encourage and excite children to learn about themselves and their peer group. I truly believe her gift of teaching/mothering has positively impacted our son and his school friends. Our son now 3 1/2 years old started with Jo's in home daycare last year as he transitioned from pull-ups to potty training. This for most parents is a tough stage of teaching and Jo was right alongside us giving us feedback and sharing tips that worked so we too could be consistent with our son at home and successful in completing potty training. This is one of many advantages we have experienced with Jo's care since we started. As a multicultural family, we are thankful to find a space where our son is able to grow and learn about life and his own gifts, while receiving exceptional care.

This was the best daycare I have ever had. Jo is a wonderful caregiver, teacher, and friend to not only the children but the parents as well. My son learned so much in the time he was there, and we will forever be grateful.

I have used Like Home Child Care on many occasions. From my experience, Jo offers a very clean, family oriented and educational environment. Jo takes great pride in what she does and it shows when you see how hard she works with the kids. Jo takes kids on field trips, utilize swim lessons, play time at the park and offers a great before and after school program for older siblings. She also provides well balanced nutritious meals. I believe a strong indicator of success is the fact many of the children leave her daycare to go to Kindergarten already reading and testing above grade level in most subjects. I have also know many children test straight into 1st grade bypassing Kindergarten because of what Jo has exposed them to. I would highly recommend Jo to any family wanting the best for their children.

I have a 4 year old and a 2.5 year old that have been going to Jo's daycare since they were born. She is absolutely amazing with them! Everyday they ask me - more like beg me - if it is a daycare day! As tiny infants they learned baby sign language which helped my daughters to communicate with us before they could even talk. Through Jo's weekly lesson plans, group play with their friends and fun they have learned an incredible amount. Capri (my 4 year old) is now learning her sight words and even trying to read books! Rylee (my 2.5 year old) knows all of her letters by sight and loves to sing songs from group time. I can't wait to see what Jo will teach them next!
