Lighthouse Child & Family Development Center

525 South Avenue, Springfield, MO 65806

About

Lighthouse Child & Family Development Center (LCFDC) is a non-profit providing quality care and education to children 0-6 years in a Christian environment with a focus on strengthening families through community collaboration. The three main goals of LCFDC are:

1. Provide quality care and education to children 0-6 years. We do this by using best practices in all areas of programming and individualizing curriculum by using observation and assessment tools. LCFDC is a licensed facility, recognized as a Child Safe Facility through the local health department, employs highly qualified teaching staff, and is currently working to have all centers fully accredited by May 2015.

2. Encourage and empower families through holistic support. LCFDC has onsite dedicated family support staff available to provide resources and offer support where families may need assistance. Our priority is to help families raise confident and resilient children, and to assist families in accomplishing desired family goals.

3. Partner with community organizations to assist with programming and sustainability. LCFDC partners with local congregations to deliver the early care and education services. LCFDC also partners with agencies like the Creamery Arts Center, Springfield/Greene county library, Early Head Start and many other agencies to delivery quality programming to the children and families served.

LCFDC is always accepting child enrollment applications. Call or come by for a tour and to see what vacancies are currently available.
