Laughing Butterflies Home Childcare is a home-based childcare center located near the corner of Wadsworth and Bowles in Littleton. Our family has created and designated a large, open, sunny and inviting classroom area that is separate from our family'sliving space to provide your child with a classroom that encourages creativity and growth. We follow a curriculum called Read, Learn and Play developed by Dr. Tony Linder (University of Denver). Our weekly thematic units support a hands-on learning experience with the goal of Kindergarten readiness Laughing Butterflies Home Childcare is/offers: Twelve years of experience Colorado State Licensed Colorado State Nutrition and Food Program (home-made nutritious meals daily) Colorado Shines QRIS rated Certified CPR, First Aid, Medication Administration & Universal Precautions Daily activities: circle time, reading, craft time, outdoor time, 1:1 quiet work Daily activity reports and photos Weekly homework assignments Weekly activities: gymnastics, music class, art workshop, library, Spanish lessons Large backyard for lots of daily outside activities and fun Field trips: Denver Zoo, Littleton Museum, Museum of Science & Nature, Clement Park Bi-annual parent-teacher conferences (individual growth & developmental portfolio) This is not your typical home-based childcare.
