My mom is a 88-year-old with Parkinson's, severe osteoporosis, and contracture of her hands. Ideally, we would like to have 2 caregivers,one to get her up and going in the morning, approximately 7-11am, and another at night, 5-9pm, to get her to bed. She needs help with all ADL's. She needs compassion, patience, and willingness to do what she wants you to. Her memory is starting to fail, so putting things where she wants them is important. Exercise is very important, she needs this daily. Meals, bathing, toileting, housekeeping, laundry, and most of all, friendship. We would meet, and possibly have a trial for a few days, see if you all get along. Days and Hours can be negotiated, what matters is, can you make her feel safe and loved? ... more
