I have had my two daughters at this school for two years now and have been very pleased! My oldest is in the preschool room and she is able to speak some Spanish and Mandarin. She truly loves to learn thanks to Ms Jessica and I feel confident she will have a leg up in Kindergarten. My baby has gone thrside and been nurtured and cared for ju how every Mom would want. The Owners truly care and are always present and available to discuss any issues. It is truly a family environment.

We are in love with Kids R Kids! The school has such caring and sweet teachers! The facility is extra clean, the staff is ultra communicative, and the camera system allows us to check in whenever we'd like!

STAY AWAY! DANGEROUS FOR CHILDREN & REFUSES TO PAY EMPLOYEES FOR REQUIRED TRAINING!

I wish I could give this place ZERO stars. My spouse has worked in the childcare industry for her entire life. She started at this Kids R Kids location back in August 2017.

Immediately she noticed that this business consistently breaks state childcare laws; each day she came home expressing deep concerns for the safety of children here. One example is that a new hire was allowed to work directly with children before he was even background checked or fingerprinted; obviously this is dangerous because the business had no idea what his background was like (he could've been a pedophile), and if he had kidnapped one of the children, they didn't have his fingerprints on file and therefore had no idea who he was, or how to find him or the child.

The center also refused to pay my spouse for the MANDATORY trainings that she had to do. This included the Computer-based training that they made her do and CPR training she had to do on a Saturday. The training totaled about 10 hours worth of work, which is significant, especially for a part time, low-paying job like this one. When she asked the Director about the pay, the Director lied to her and said that they're not required to pay employees for training. We took some time to research the matter and according to both the State and Federal government:
"Attendance at training programs, meetings, and similar activities MUST be counted as working time unless ALL four of the following criteria are met:
(1) attendance is outside of the employee's regular working hours;
(2) attendance is voluntary;
(3) the course, lecture, or meeting is not directly related to the employee's job; and, (4) the employee does not perform any work during such attendance."

My spouse emailed this information to the daycare's Director and told her that it was important she be paid for her work and that she would not be able to come in as scheduled until she was assured that she would be paid. The Director did not respond to her email. 2 business days later, my spouse called the Director to ask about her pay and was told that she was completely taken off of the schedule (fired) and that she couldn't pick up her paycheck for 3 more business days (the state requirement says that employees who are fired must be paid in full within 24 hours maximum).

This childcare center is unsafe for children and is not good to it's employees. I recommend that you stay away from this business as both a parent and an employee; as a parent, you'd be putting your child at great risk by leaving them here; as an employee, you'd be wasting your time working here because you will be treated poorly and will not be paid for your time - you could also be putting yourself in legal jeopardy because the center consistently disregards local childcare laws.
