Our son, Keenan, received childcare from Terri Pryer from the time he was 17 months old until he began school at the age of 5. Miss Terri is the embodiment of what all early childhood caregivers should be: patient, organized, structured, consistent, affectionate, fair, respectful and intellectually stimulating.

Children in the care of Terri always know what to expect in their daily routine thanks to the structure of Terri's program. The Kid'n'Kaboodle program combines hands on learning activities with opportunities for the children to run and play and develop their gross motor skills. I am eternally thankful for the music lessons Keenan received while at Kid'n'kaboodle. They established an appreciation of music and knowledge of music fundamentals that have enabled our son to progress quickly in his guitar lessons.

Important to us, our son has had a wonderful first year in Kindergarten thanks to the wonderful learning environment at Kid'n'Kaboodle. Of course, important to him, he still talks about the wonderful meals he received at Miss Terri's.

This is a letter of reference for Terri Pryer and Kid-n-Kaboodle. Terri was introduced to me by a good friend of mine who adored her. Didn't take me long to figure out why! That introduction was a blessing to my whole family! I had taken Pyper to a different day care. She cried when I dropped her off every day! We started at Mrs. Terri's January of 2007! I never saw another tear from that time on! I have watched Pyper grow in to a beautiful and smart little girl. I can give a big thanks to Terri for that! Pyper started kindergarten this year! That makes me sad! We will forever Love and Miss Terri and her wonderful family!
My two children started going to Mrs. Terri's house in 2008 when Kelsey was 18 months old and Andrew was 3.5 and stayed there for two years. My children had never gone to daycare before and I was a nervous wreck about someone else having my babies. Mrs. Terri is an unbelievably fantastic person. I called a few times the first day to check on them and when I picked them up they didn't want to come home! I never once had crying children when I dropped them off in the mornings which says a lot about the daycare in my opinion.

If you were to ask my children right now what they think about Mrs. Terri they both would say , without a second's thought, that they love her and miss her. We recently relocated across the country and that's the only reason Kelsey is still not with Mrs. Terri.

Daycare aside Mrs. Terri's expertise as a preschool teacher is remarkable. My son's teachers are constantly telling me that he is so smart and does great in school and must have had an amazing preschool teacher. Andrew was reading before he even started kindergarten. I think the only thing she didn't teach him was to tie his shoe! Even Kelsey at the age of two, could tell you what the sound of each letter of the alphabet was. And then there's the crafts. Mrs. Terri has the most unique ideas of fun stuff for the kids to do. I had a hard time deciding what to keep and what not to keep when stuff was sent home from school! I wish I could have kept it all but that's not very realistic!

And then there's the summers! Full of lots of fun! Field trips to Kenny's Corral, picnics at the park, water days, painting, exploring, and enjoying being friends.

If you child is lucky enough to get a spot in Mrs. Terri's daycare you won't regret it. We miss her every day. We've been gone over a month and my kids STILL have stories and memories to share about their time with her. (and have asked if they can go to Mrs. Terri's house to say hi!). My daughter is in a new daycare and does not like the lady. Ask her why and she says "because I want Mrs. Terri"/

Letter of reference for Terri Pryer, owner of Kid n' Kaboodle daycare:

This is our second go round with Kid n' Kaboodle. We loved it for our first daughter and it wasn't a doubt that our second daughter would also attend. Our daughter has attended Kid n' Kaboodle for 2 years and have enjoyed it immensely. Ms. Terri provides a family-loving, caring, and an excellent learning environment for the children. The pre-school program used has enriched and equipped our daughter with an excellent educational foundation. She scored very well on a school district assessment by answering questions on a Pre-K, Kindergarten, and 1st grade level at 4 years of age. Our daughter has also developed great social skills. We are confident that our daughter will have great success in her coming academic years.

If you are looking for a great person/place to care for your child, we recommend Ms. Terri- Kid n' Kaboodle daycare.

To: Whom it May Concern:
This letter serves as a recommendation for Kid 'n' Kaboodle Daycare, owned and operated by Terri Pryer.
One of the most important decisions you will make during your life is finding a daycare you are happy with to take care of your very special child.
As a working mother, I did my research, went to several places and compared them when I was enlightened about Kid 'n' Kaboodle. It's extremely hard to find a place that can provide a clean, comfortable and secure environment; however, I found that place and fell in love with Kid 'n' Kaboodle and it will always have a special place in our hearts!
My son attended Kid 'n' Kaboodle from May 2010 through August 2013. I was nervous to leave Ryland on his first day since this was a completely different environment than he had previously been in. I left crying while Ryland stayed and seemed so happy. About 5 minutes later all my crazy emotions were laid to rest when Terri texted me to let me know he was doing great and having fun!
While in Terri and Teresa's care, he learned everything from his ABC's, numbers, colors, letters and number recognition to opposites and same, shapes, music, art appreciation, sign language, and even French. He also learned lifelong enhancement skills such as sharing, patience, understanding, compassion, caring and loving. A big plus for us is that Terri offered nutritional meals and snacks as well as had a nice place for all the kids to play outside. Terri and Teresa created an environment where children felt safe and had fun as well as develop wonderful life long relationships with each other all while learning together. The friendships he made will always make my heart smile! Ryland always came home with a smile on his face and memories that he will always carry with him in his precious little heart.
On a regular basis Terri and Teresa show that communication is paramount via picture evidence. I love seeing how much fun my son is having while in their care. I adore the fact that every day they do fun exciting activities. Seeing the play dough under his finger nails, baking ingredients and dirt on his clothes makes me excited knowing that he is having a lot of fun and getting to experience new things all the while knowing it's ok to get a little messy.
Terri's and Teresa's family have become such intricate part of our lives, and while we don't see them every day anymore, I attribute so much of my son's growth and excelled development to Kid 'n' Kaboodle. When we left, Terri did something amazing for me....a cd filled with pictures of the days Ryland spent there and all the new friends he made. It was an amazing thoughtful gift that I will forever cherish! He is well seasoned for entering kindergarten. I would highly recommend this amazing daycare to anyone who is looking for a nourishing place and the very best for their child.
The love and patience provided by Terri and Teresa makes us realize how lucky we were to have found a place we can still call our home away from home. You will not find such outstanding care like this anywhere else. I'd highly recommend Kid 'n' Kaboodle to any and every one because you will be guaranteed to receive the type of loving care you would give your own child.

Please feel free to use us as a reference at any time. It'd be our pleasure.
