Kathryn Cares Child Care

Hello Parents/Guardians, My name is Kathryn and I provide loving care for your child from my Christian home with a focus on preparing your child for kindergarten. We learn through play as well as through curriculum and fun activities (circle time, artprojects, worksheets, sensory play; music). There is a huge backyard for lots of running around space, a play set (swings, slide, sandbox, water table, playhouse), and preschool room. I have 4 girls of my own that are all in school. Always check in to see if I have any space for afterschool care. Homework help and tutoring are available. Parents provide their child's lunch, so you can have control over their healthy eating. I have a background in Special Education and preschool teaching. I've been working with children for over 30 years and have been providing homecare for the past 11 years. My other past experience: starting with my own babysitting company as a teen, became a nanny, was a special needs teacher's aide, was a children's playgroup/club coordinator, a preschool teacher, and an IEP coordinator for the Los Angeles school district.
