Hope Effect Day School

Hope Effect Day School is an extension ministry of MorningStar Church. We exist to provide low-cost, high-quality Christ-centered childcare to our neighbors in Carrollwood and surrounding communities. We serve children ages 1 - 4, 12 months out of theyear with extended hours to serve working families (6:30am - 6pm). <br/><br/>We believe that play is the work of a child. Learning through play and authentic, quality interaction is key for the young learner. With this in mind, our classrooms are center-based and blend child-initiated activities with teacher-directed activities and free art. The daily lessons will allow children to learn through fun, engaging, hands-on experiences.<br/><br/>In addition, children will be introduced to the Christian faith through Bible teaching, worship music, and prayer time on a daily basis. We will also attend chapel each week.<br/><br/>Research confirms that children learn best through play and through making their own choices in the classroom. We will encourage exploration and discovery to help cultivate a love of learning that will flow at the child 's pace as much as possible. Our curriculum will follow the natural progress of age-appropriate development for preschool children.<br/><br/>Our facility consists of four beautifully designed age-appropriate classrooms, two playgrounds, and a garden courtyard. Our large lobby is also licensed as a classroom to be used for exercise classes, games, or even potentially summer care for families with older elementary-aged children.
