Hi!
I provide a very small in-home childcare for families who prefer one-on-one nurturing and care of their children in a quieter environment than that of many larger day cares.
I love the zeal for life that children have where everything seems "new"and "exciting" to them; we have fun together exploring the variety of things indoors and outdoors that enhance growth and potential. I'm huge on reading and begin this routine with infants via rhyme and silly stories that teach life lessons or books that are simply easy reading for children to enjoy. We do age-appropriate activities: arts/crafts, walks, indoor/outdoor play, games, baking, singing, "theater", field trips (with parental approval), etc. I've cared for dozens of children from newborn to preschool years including: several preemies on heart monitors, a preemie with sucking issues, infants with motor skill delays, and infants/toddlers with allergies. I've also helped parents with bottle/Binky weaning and potty training. I furnish clean safe cribs, high chairs, strollers, oodles of large and small toys, and healthy snacks and lunch.
