At Hazelnut Learning Academy, we are focused on developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills. We offer high-quality education for preschool children both academically and holistically.
STEM is built into all of our activities. Kids will learn about nature first hand in our butterfly garden and Kid's food garden. We practice early phonetic awareness. Children are introduced to the phonetic sound of letters before the name of the letter. This practice helps children develop literacy at an early age and self-confidence in reading. In addition, whole words and sight words are introduced. Our letter and reading activities combine gross motor skills, vocabulary, fun, and literacy!
All modes of instruction are taught by a master's degree level instructor using research-based methods recognized internationally as best practices. We have a fully separate classroom and learning area as well as a food garden, and outdoor play areas. We currently accept children ages 3-6. I offer part-time and full-time care.
