Happy Land

Hello, my name is Kenyatta, I am the proud wife and mother of two wonderful children, 2 years and 6 months. I was born and raised in Sterling Heights, MI. I attended Eastern Michigan University, where I obtain my Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice. In2013, I became a resident here in Virginia Beach, VA with the hopes of pursuing my college dreams of becoming a Police Officer, but those dreams changed once my husband and I became parents. <br/> <br/>After becoming a mom, I then realized my true passion and that was caring for children. I realize I love being able to teach my son and daughter new things everyday, take them to the library for different learning events and most importantly, I realized how much happier I was knowing they are always in a safe environment. <br/> <br/>Every third Sunday and Wednesday, I volunteer as a childcare provider at my church nursery. Being able to be a relief for parents during church service is a true blessing. <br/> <br/>My home is smoke-free and 100 percent baby proof. <br/> <br/>As a mom of two beautiful children, I know the feeling of leaving your child in the care of others, which is why I decided to become a home daycare provider. I want to give parents a feeling of confidence when they drop their child(ren) off. I want children to come to Happyland Daycare and feel as if they're right at home. Happyland Daycare's goal is to welcome every child with open arms and a safe learning environment.
