As a first-time mom in a pandemic, it was a tough decision to send my only daughter off to daycare. However, she has been attending Gurukul Learning Center for almost a year now and it was the best decision I have ever made and I am so happy I chose this particular family-run facility. She started when she was about 9 months old in the infant room. The staff was so understanding and helpful in guiding us through the process. Since the very beginning, the director of the school, Deanna, made us feel welcome and part of the family. The safety measures during the pandemic were top-notch and I always felt as though my daughter was safe and loved at school, even amidst COVID breakouts and closures (which I'm sure, were always a tough call to make). I am constantly floored by how much she has learned and grown over the course of her time at Gurukul. The teachers have been absolutely phenomenal. My daughter constantly talks about her teachers and how much fun she has learning every day. She is always happy when I pick her up, and honestly, barely even says bye to me when I drop her off now! She's so excited to see her friends that she just walks right in! I am so very grateful to the educators and staff for making sure all of the kids have the best enrichment possible, while maintaining a safe environment for all. With Gurukul, you get all the best parts of the curriculum from the big chains, but with a more personal, welcoming feeling. You're not just a number to the Gurukul team, you're part of the family.
