As a former employee, I've learned a good bit about this industry and this company; I feel compelled to share it with the public.
What you really need to know is this: Who is running this company and who is hiring the caregivers that will be sent to your home?
I can tell you about the owner of FirstLight; his name is Jeff and he is a stand-up guy. I worked very closely with him until my recent move to Indiana. He's a decent human being that can be trusted. He interviews each caregiver himself because he wouldn't send anyone to your house that he wouldn't send to his own mother's house. You can reach him personally; he'll give you his personal cell #! And I would bet anything that once you meet him, and yes, he would be happy to meet you, you'll love him!
Because of what I've learned about the home care industry in the last year, when it comes time for me to find help for my mom, I will not settle on a company until I can personally meet the owner and/or the manager of the company.
If you are reading this review then I know that you are in the midst of making a very important decision, a rather stressful decision; please don't make that final decision until you meet Jeff; he will put your mind at ease, and you'll feel a lot better about what you are having to do.
As I said; I am a former employee; I have nothing to gain by writing this review. I wrote it because I myself tend to rely on reviews if a personal recommendation is not available. When I have an outstanding experience and I feel someone else will benefit greatly, as I have, I write a review.

We needed a little extra care for my mother-in-law and FirstLight HomeCare of North Fulton was amazing. We met with the owner, Jeff Duren, and he assured us that they would provide a caregiver who was a great match for her. Indeed they did. Sometimes my mother-in-law can be a challenge, but the caregiver knew exactly what to do at all the right times. I would highly recommend that if you need help for your family member call Jeff and his team.
