First State Home Care (FSHC) is a non- medical Home Health Agency located in the state of Delaware. FSHC specializes in Home Care that helps individuals to maintain their independence in their current residence.

FSHC provides care including personal care such as bathing, dressing, feeding and transferring. In addition, we assist with daily activities such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, errands, doctors appointments, medication reminders and companionship. Our caregivers are especially trained to keep our clients engaged, whether it is reading books, doing puzzles or going for walks. The list is endless.

FSHC has a RN on staff that performs the initial assessment and develops an appropriate care plan based on the clients needs. Our RN matches each client to a care giver based on the client's needs and the caregiver's training. RN re-assessments are performed on a routine basis. Our caregivers are compassionate and dependable. They are all bonded and insured W2 employees. FSHC has a comprehensive interview process. Background checks are performed on our caregivers prior to employment. Our caregivers receive on-going training.

FSHC offers as little as one hour of care and as much as 24/7 care. We have flexible schedules that can vary weekly based on the individual client needs. FSHC uses a telephone clock in system to ensure timely visits and accurate billing. A First State Home Care company representative is available 24/7.
