Christ the King Cathedral Parish has celebrated 50 years of quality Catholic education in the city of Lubbock. The early childhood development center at Christ the King is a new addition to provide care for all children beginning at 6 weeks to school-agefor the next 50+ years. The ECDC uses Montessori curriculum and best practice to provide a different atmosphere of care and development for young children. Using developmentally appropriate practices, the ECDC has a lower than state ratio, educated staff and an environment unique to Christ the King. The ECDC provides care for the students of Christ the King School from grades pre-k to fifth grade.
