DayBreak Adult Care Services is one of the oldest companies in the Midlands Area of Columbia, SC. Our office staff has remained consistent with the newest employee being employed 9 years ago! Our office staff has over 75 years collective experience in Long Term Care with Seniors. Our caregivers participate in continuing education each year to help increase their knowledge as they serve seniors in our community.

Coker Day, owner, and Joyce R., Marketing Director, have participated and supported the community in many ways.

Both are founding members of the Caregiver Coalition of the Midlands (15 years ago) which provides a caregiver hot-line and an annual free conference for lay caregivers. The purpose of the Coalition is to provide support, a listening ear, and education to help the lay caregiver be their BEST in caring for their loved one. Both have remained active in this outreach.

Joyce was the founder of the Senior Care Professionals of Midlands (20 years ago) and has remained active throughout the years. This organization brings professionals caring for seniors together to network and to hear speakers that educate them on concerns facing the senior population.

Both also work to support other local agencies (Alzheimer's Association, Council on Aging, etc.) who serve seniors.
