Cheery Tots Child Care

In Cheery Tots, our vision is to be a child care home that nurtures children's minds and souls through encouraging experiences, caring relationships & enjoying God's awesomeness in our lives. I'm Christi, & I'm a registered home-based child care provider in Arlington, TX. I have more than 10 years of experience in child care (worked in preschool, taught preschool Sunday school, have hands-on experience with more than 20 foster siblings under the age of 7 years old over the course of 3 years). My whole family loves children, & we have embraced this ministry to the point of giving up full-time jobs to attend to the needs of the children in our home.

We have a spacious DIY nature backyard with sandbox, swings, slide, deck play area for infants, kids' garden, chalkboards, trike/bike track, lots of outdoor space to run around, & separate play areas with infant & toddler educational learning resources. We offer a separate nap room for infants, another transitional nap room for toddlers, & separate play areas for infants & toddlers. We have a 60 gallon fish tank with a 12-in Malawi cichlid dominating it.

We provide healthy meals & enroll all children in the USDA Food Program. We open as early as 6am and may close as late as 10pm, but our full-time care is a maximum of 10 hrs from your child's sign in to sign out on any given day. We accept infants and older, drop-in/part-time and overnight care (may even accept on weekends), full-time & before/after-school care for school aged. Throughout the years, we've preferred early infant ages as we love to see them go through the early developmental stages, and our program is ideal for Infants. Although we offer Drop-In/Part-Time care in each age group during the week AND even on weekends, availability is limited based on total number of children in care at any time of the day set by State Licensing standards. We may also decide not to work on the weekend as it is on a case by case basis. We may be open on weekends ONLY at our discretion. Spots are NOT guaranteed and a voicemail message/email is needed to confirm availability, especially on weekends. Although caring for children is rewarding, we are still regular people who need rest, run errands, and take at least a day off or two.
