Arlington-Mansfield Dog Boarding
I've hosted dogs in my home for three decades. What started as fostering, became post-op care, postpartum care for exhausted moms who gave birth in shelters or were abandoned at a vet's office, and now full-time boarding and day care for dogs in all stages of life, including special needs.
I volunteer with Shelter2Rescue Coalition, part of the No Kill Coalition that works with shelters to save dogs and cats on euthanasia lists in low-traffic/high-kill rural shelters. I'm an approved foster home for TexasGSP, schnauzer, golden retriever, Brittany spaniel, Australian shepherd, and doodle rescues.
No drinking or smoking. No kids or cats. Plenty of dog beds, sofas, and scatter rugs. I offer a fun and safe host home for your dogs when you're on vacation or traveling for work, daycare for socialization and exercise, or devoted care for seniors/special needs who need extra attention.
Your dog will not lack hugs and kisses. I confess to baby-talk. Rather than enduring the stress of being mainly crated in a commercial kennel or vet's office, your dogs will be relaxed and happy when you pick them up from my home. Many of my clients are available for direct contact if you need reassurance that your dogs will be well cared for in my home.
I'm flexible with dates and last-minute bookings.
I can accommodate dogs who are medically fragile and/or senior/blind/diabetic. I also host dogs who need hand feeding. No extra cost for oral meds or injections; after all, at some point, we're all falling apart.
