When I moved to Maricopa about 3 and half years ago from Phoenix, I had to withdraw my daughter from the in-home preschool she attended which broke my heart as she was able to grow and learn so much there. I decided that with my passion for working withchildren (I am also slowly working to complete my education degree), that I wanted to create the same type of preschool/childcare here in Maricopa. I live in the Senita subdivision my husband and our 3 children. We have a spacious, clean, smoke-free, drug-free, pool-free, child proofed (covers on electrical outlets, latches on cabinets, furniture wall mounted so it cannot topple over, etc) home. I have converted the large extra room into a wonderful playroom/preschool classroom. I have no issues with drug screenings or background checks. I know First Aid, CPR and the Heimlich. I have years of experience with childcare, on top of being a mother myself, which also includes some experience with certain special needs (Autism, Tourette's Syndrome, OCD and Speech Delay). <br/> <br/>I don't allow my children to play video games or sit in front of the TV all day, and I wouldn't allow yours either. We would instead be doing many fun activities that all ages would enjoy such as: <br/> <br/>Arts & Crafts <br/>Science Projects <br/>ABC's & 123's, Shapes, Colors, etc. <br/>Concepts <br/>Opposites & Rhymes <br/>Calendar Time (The Date, Months, Days of the Week, Seasons) <br/>Story Time <br/>Nap time (as needed) <br/>Outdoor play and as summer approaches, water play in the sprinklers and at the local splash pads <br/>Baking <br/>Weekly Trip to the local Library <br/>Movie Day <br/>Trips to the nearby park/playground <br/>Field trips to the Phoenix Zoo and family friendly museums (parents permitting) <br/>And of course plenty of free play to promote creativity <br/> <br/>Your children would be able to bring home what it is they have been working on to proudly show you what it is they are learning. <br/> <br/>*I do require that children are potty trained when they start with my class. <br/> <br/>If you are needing full-time, part-time or after school care, please feel free to email me or contact me.
