Buechel Park Baptist Church Parents Day Out Program

Parents Day Out meets Mondays and Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. You have the option of choosing one day or both days a week. We provide a fun, loving, and educational environment for children ages 3 months old to 5 years old. The day is filled withfun learning opportunities that will help prepare the children for kindergarten. The children benefit from being in a social setting with their own age group. The infant and toddler classes learn the basic skills such as colors, shapes, number, and the alphabet. The preschool class bring with them the skills they have learned from the toddler classes. With these skills they will begin pre-writing along with other learning opportunities to develop language and math skills. The pre-k class is taught handwriting, recognition, language, literacy, science and math. We work on the skills they need to move on to kindergarten. By the time they leave our program they are able to write their name and simple words and many other skills. There are many opportunities for hands on learning. All of our classes participate in arts and crafts, music class, gym and playground time. Families are encouraged call for a tour and bring along their children to see what we have to offer.… Read more
