We had a staff member of Acclaim care for my mother for about 2 months before her passing. My mother who was 85yo was very apprehensive about starting with a new home care agency and a new caregiver. The aide she had in PA had been with her for over 2 years and we knew it was going to be hard to replace her. When we met the aide from Acclaim, my mother was very anxious the first day. Needless to say the aide put my mother at ease and fit right in with her. The aide was very good to my mother, kept her motivated and comfortable making sure she had what she needed. I could go to work and not be anxious about my mothers care. The aide was very caring, compassionate, and loving person and it is reflected in her work. My mother loved the aide and was upset on days she was not there. The aide made it possible for me to continue working and was with us after we put my mother on Hospice, and helped me through a difficult time. This aide is an asset to Acclaim.
