These young people were an answer to our prayers, literally! I have tried several other 'caregivers' who've told me intensely hiw much experience they have with Parkinson's, Dementia, etc., however no one has actually demonstrated these skills like two individuals. They were not intimidated by the sundowners, the Parkinson's, or the repetitive behaviors she demonstrated. They made her feel happy and treated her with dignity and kindness, in spite of the number of times she asked them to use the bathroom or the number of times she asked them to help her in and out of bed. They also did not interview under pseudonyms, show up late, leave early, or quit after a few days. They are totally worth your trust! My mother and sister are delighted with them - and I feel safe leaving her in thei care.
