Moving in with me and my partner in the coming weeks from an assisted living complex in Champions Gate, originally from Massachusetts. Big Boston sports fan. About the care needs: Looking for someone who can come by a few times a week for a few hours on the days where I work a longer work day. I'm a server and work a few doubles a week and my partner manages restauraunts so we do work a lot. I need someone who can come and hang out with my mom, make sure she is showering (she may need assistance). My mom is very sweet but does cuss a good amount, so I do need someone who wont be offended if they hear her drop a few F bombs. About who needs care: She has stage 4 copd, neuropathy, and a spinal cyst that affects mobility. She mostly stays in the bed, but does occasionally sit up or get in her wheelchair. She does need assistance getting onto a bedside potty, but can clean herself up. She likes watching her drama tv shows and chatting. We would only need help occasionally when we have overlapping obligations. About the care needs: Someone kind and patient. As an elderly southern woman she has a sweet personality but at times can be stubborn. Someone positive would be great.
