Special Needs Nanny
For the past five years, I've had the privilege of caring for children - not only providing for their needs, but loving and enjoying their little lives. I have a considerable amount of experience in working with special needs children. In 2006, my now 11-year-old cousin was diagnosed with severe Autism. I was able to care for her upon multiple occasions, and we developed a very close relationship. Caring for her posed challenges, but I am incredibly resilient. The joys and triumphs ALWAYS outweigh the difficulties. For the past 3 years, I have been involved at a local Autism Institute here in Florida, where I'm able to care and develop friendships with teens and children with autism. This is absolutely where my heart is at. I pursued special needs education for a semester in college and absolutely loved it. One day, I hope to continue my education and become an Occupational therapist. For now, I'd love to nanny for a special needs family, while I continue to explore my passions. If you're interested, please reach out. Cheers!
