About the Program and Curriculum: Each week we focus on a theme, and planned activities include circle time, arts and crafts projects, songs and finger plays, language development, sensory play, math skills, science exploration, story time and more! We go outside in the morning and afternoon, weather permitting, to play in our fenced-in yard. We have a variety of age-appropriate toys available both indoors and out. The daycare room is arranged into learning centers, such as dramatic play, blocks, art, language, a train table, etc. A morning snack, lunch, and afternoon snack are provided for children eating table foods. Hours and Tuition Fees: I am open from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tuition for full-time enrollment if $250 per week or $60 per day for part-time. If you need early care (before 7:30 a.m.) or extended care (after 5:30 p.m.), it can be prearranged at the rate of $10 per hour. Our home has a brand new playroom with a beautiful view of the garden. Large windows help us be a part of the outside even on cold winter days. The new playroom is for younger children birth through 3 years old. We also have another playroom for older children ages 4 to 10. We have a reference library and appropriate books for all ages and all subjects. We are understanding of parents who experience traffic problems. The cost per day covers 7:15 am - 6:15 pm. After 6:15 pm, there will be an additional charge per hour. Our outside play yard is pictured. We have bikes for all ages, toy cars to ride, two castles, and a log cabin. For the older children, we have skates, a play house (pictured) and all types of materials for arts and crafts. I taught and studied arts and crafts most of my life. In the summer we have 2 pools, one for small children and one for the older children. We take walks to the park and can drive children to school and pick-up from school or after-school programs. I offer a Home Away From Home for your child. I am a mom of four myself (ages 15 - 21) and all children I care for become part of our family, even long after I stop caring for them on a regular basis. I have over 30 years experience caring for children other then my own, the last 6 years of which have been full-time. I have glowing references from all parents along the way. My promise to all parents whose children I care for is that I will care for your child as if they were my own; I know no other way. At the end of each day, you will go home with a detailed list of what and when they ate and took naps. My working hours are 8 am - 6 pm; however, I am willing to extend that occasionally for $10/hour, when the need arises. For the last 2 years I have cared full-time for a now 2 year old, and recently welcomed his brother into our group when he was only 8 weeks old. (Note: I also cared for their older brothers, who are now 8 and 6, for 2 years when they were similar ages). The 3rd child I care for is a 2 1/2 year old girl, who comes to me 1 - 3 varying days each week. Therefore, I have 1 - 2 openings. My weekly rates are $275 full-time for infants on bottle/baby food (which you provide) and $300 full-time for toddlers and older (includes breakfast, lunch, snack and all milk). Daily rates are $60 for infants and $65 for toddlers and older (food as detailed above). I will not care for more than 4/5 children at one time, with the exception of a 4 year old who I watch during the school year from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm.
