Important bullet points: -State recorded program. -Follow HSD calendar for days off/holidays and start/end dates. -Daily snack provided by parents. -Accept 3 to 5-year-olds who independently use the restroom. -Friendly dog in home. -Smoke-free home. We begin at 9:00a.m. We greet each other then hop into morning circle. This is an interactive activity that includes the Pledge of Allegiance, date, days of the week, letter of the day, colors, shapes, weather, and counting. There are songs, discussions, and hands on activities with a focus on practicing self control, taking turns and respect. *I use Timberdoodle's Pre-K nonreligious curriculum. I'm happy to send you the link so you can see what it's all about! Language arts follows. We focus on identifying each letter then go back and attach letter sounds. Each day the students work on an artistic activity to really gel the information. *Friday mornings are reserved for arts and crafts. Next is recess.
