I decided to obtain my DCFS license to open a home daycare to provide the highest quality childcare, through a combination of education, experience, a positive attitude and most importantly the love for children. My Program Mission: is to assist and support working parents and their families. Specializing in the education of 6 weeks-12 years old by providing an environment that is welcoming, secure, nurturing, educational and fun for their children My Curriculum: Our program is licensed by the State of Illinois. I use the Creative Curriculum; it focuses on social emotional, physical, cognitive, and language development. The components of the curriculum are applied in different learning areas: art, library, discovery, sand and water, music and movement, blocks, dramatic play, and outdoors activities. Staff: I am educated in early childhood education and CPR and First Aid. We are experienced and caring individuals that love working with children and their families. Nutrition: I provide nutritionally balanced meals and snacks for the well being of the children. We offer Full Day, Half Day and Before and After School. My Goals: Provide an atmosphere that is appealing, secure,comfortable, friendly, and nurturing for children to learn and socialize. Give affection, support, and trust to the families in the program. Create a learning environment through play. Guide children in development of appropriate social interaction so they can be socially competent.
