Lad's 'n Lassie's Childcare is located within my home, and is a big part of my wonderful family! I'm a wife and Mom to three amazing kids, ages 20 (about to enter his Junior year at Vanderbilt), 10 & 8! Keeping my family running well and happy is my utmost concern, and the children within my care literally become a part of my family not only while in my care, but for years after! Our sweet little group is always kept very small, so that each child receives almost one on one attention. Because I have newborns thru pre-schoolers, I have a very flexible schedule with my children depending on their changing day to day needs. That being said, I always make sure and check daily with each parent to insure each child is getting enough naptime and never too much, eating well and accomplishing age appropriate milestones. Our environment is happy and nurturing, and often my days are filled with sitting in the floor or on a blanket outdoors with my two daughters for hours playing with the kids and having great times. Books,puzzles and reading are a huge part of being at my home, and we also love to sing and build with blocks-it's always fun to see the children's enthusiasm. I specialize in newborn care, and have lots of experience with helping moms to sustain and successfully breastfeed when they return to work. I absolutely love seeing Moms make it to one year and beyond breastfeeding! Many children over my twenty year history have gone from newborn infants thru pre-school age, finally making the transition to becoming a valued Lad's 'n Lassie's Alum! I'm located one minute from Nolensville Road, and only three minutes south of the intersection of Old Hickory Blvd and Nolensville Rd in a beautiful, well-kept neighborhood. The childcare I provide is upscale and literally like having your own private nanny, but at much better prices! I have excellent references and have recently undergone a background check. Neighborhoods close to me would be Barnes Cove and Bend, Sugar Valley, Lenox Village, Bradford Hills and I am only minutes from downtown Nashville.
