We offer activity based family home care with daily trips to local parks, libraries, museums, etc for kids 3-12 years-old. We want to do more than just warehouse your kids while you're @ work. We focus on building self-esteem, tempered with a healthy mutual respect for each other & being thankful for the little things in life. Family style meals around the table with emphasis on manners. Meals are served with health in mind, & we can accommodate special nutritional requirements or restrictions, including, but not limited to Gluten Free meals.
We also welcome children with special needs, as long as we are able to accommodate their needs. Some needs require the assistance of a professional nurse. We are not equipped for this type of service, but most less intensive needs can be accommodated, with a little instruction from you, & we will also make sure that they're included as part of the group.
Our names are Linda & Matthew. Combined, we make the ultimate team to care for your child(ren). Linda has 2 kids of her own, ages 9 & 12, & is an expert @ gluten free dieting, since she & her son are both allergic to it. Matthew has 9 years experience teaching elementary aged kids in Sunday school @ church, & has also cared for kids of friends & family since he was a teen. We are both very personable, & we're confident that you & your kids will feel right @ home with us.
We're located @ the top of Muckleshoot Hill, off of Auburn Way South, behind the casino, in a park like neighborhood, very convenient for families who live around the casino, or if you live in Enumclaw, we're right on your way into work.
Our rates are $30. for up to 6 hours, $40. for up to 10 hours, or $50 for up to 12 hours. Additional hours over 12 will be billed @ $6. per hour. Children with special needs may be a little more, if their needs require significant individualized time. Discounts are available for multiple children from the same family.
